University of Dayton student Kelsey Albertino interns in Washington, D.C.

University of Dayton student Kelsey Albertino is among a select group of undergraduates exploring careers in Washington, D.C., through summer internships and experiential learning opportunities as part of the DC Flyers program.

Albertino, a English major from Strongsville, OH, is working in Plan International, USA COA unit.

Students in the DC Flyers program benefit from the mentorship of co-workers, faculty, peers and the local University of Dayton alumni network. Students also receive housing in Washington, D.C., and a stipend of up to $3,000 to cover food, public transportation and other basic needs.
