University of Dayton student Ellie Rizzo interns in Washington, D.C.

University of Dayton student Ellie Rizzo is among a select group of undergraduates exploring careers in Washington, D.C., through summer internships and experiential learning opportunities as part of the DC Flyers program.

Rizzo, a International Studies, Mathematics major from Alpharetta, GA, is working in Counterpart, Global Growth.

Students in the DC Flyers program benefit from the mentorship of co-workers, faculty, peers and the local University of Dayton alumni network. Students also receive housing in Washington, D.C., and a stipend of up to $3,000 to cover food, public transportation and other basic needs.
