Shayna Niese elected Treasurer of Big Brothers Big Sisters at University of Dayton

The Center for Student Involvement congratulates Shayna Niese, who was recently elected Treasurer of Big Brothers Big Sisters at the University of Dayton. As a leader in one of UD's 239 student organizations, Shayna has an amazing opportunity to make a difference on campus. The University's student organization leaders plan and execute more than 1,000 service, social, recruitment, fundraising, athletic, academic, and recreation events. Throughout their tenure, they enhance the co-curricular experience of their peers, develop an enhanced commitment to personal and organizational values, practice leadership and conflict management skills, and benefit the larger community.
