Rudy Flyer named University of Dayton First Fan

The University of Dayton has awarded Rudy Flyer of Dayton, Ohio, known for his exuberant school spirit and trend-setting fashion (who can resist those googles?) with the handle "First Fan."

Flyers fans have spotted the instantly recognizable Rudy at games for every one of the University's 17 intercollegiate sports teams. For decades he's cheered on the Flyers, rallied the crowds and even played the occasional practical joke.
