Marissa Jama chosen for D.C. Flyers internship program

Marissa Jama, from Downers Grove, Illinois, is participating in the University of Dayton's D.C. Flyers internship program this summer, one of 17 students selected.

Marissa is working with the Eldercare Workforce Alliance.

D.C. Flyers, launched by the University Honors program and the political science department, is part of an effort to provide students with experiential learning and networking opportunities with University of Dayton alumni in the D.C. area.

The program is open to second- and third-year honors students interested in civic engagement, governance, public policy, human rights, non-profit work or leadership. Preference is given to students who are engaged leaders in the University of Dayton community and demonstrate a commitment to a career in public service.
