Khristian Santiago advances to semi-finals in UD Business Plan Competition

Khristian Santiago of San Juan, Puerto Rico, advanced to the semi-finals in the annual University of Dayton Business Plan Competition.

The first round of the competition included the elevator pitch portion, where one member of each team recited a pitch to a panel of judges. Khristian's team, Fever Smart, received sixth place in the elevator pitch competition. Video of this pitch can be viewed here: http://youtu.be/xtPR9Dk3iE4.

This year, teams were also awarded for dedication to an environment-friendly cause or social good. The Sustainability Award of $2,500 was awarded to Full Circle Trailer Aerodynamics and the Social Enterprise Award of $2,500 was awarded to College Base Camp.

Khristian will now advance to the second round of the Business Plan Competition, the cameo round, which includes a more in-depth presentation of each team's business plan.
