Kaleigh Jurcisek Wins University of Dayton Leadership Award

Kaleigh Jurcisek, a University of Dayton sociology and criminal justice major, is the winner of the 2016 John E. Riley award, which the Office of Student Development gives to a junior who has exercised sustained leadership through involvement with student initiatives exemplifying the educational and service values of the University.

Jurcisek is a member of National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the Creating Inclusive Community initiative, a diversity peer educator, and is involved in Service Saturdays, Real Dayton, Human Rights Week and Consciousness Rising.

This summer she will travel with the Honors Global Flyers program cohort to India to learn about food security.
